The Guascor 7601017 Thermometer is a high-quality Murphy B-Series Murphygage designed for accurate temperature monitoring in Guascor gas engines and power generation applications. Built with Murphy’s proven heavy-duty engineering, this compact gauge is ideal for gauge-only installations where reliability and precision are critical.
The thermometer features a high-impact polycarbonate lens, a robust steel housing, and a low-profile polished stainless-steel bezel, ensuring long service life even in demanding engine environments. Its advanced unitized diaphragm chamber provides excellent accuracy while protecting the instrument against moderate over-temperature and over-pressure conditions.
Temperature Murphygage – Working Principle
As engine temperature increases, the fluid inside the sensing bulb vaporizes, generating pressure on the diaphragm. This pressure is converted into precise mechanical movement, delivering a clear and calibrated temperature reading on the analog dial.
The standard capillary is copper with PVC armor, offering flexibility and protection. Optional capillary armors are available in galvanized steel or 316 stainless steel for harsher operating conditions.
